First i would like to tell you that i have been in the music business since 1996 as a manager on the underground independent circuit. My skills have developed to the point where i started my own management and brokerage firm. My firm consists of managing musicians such as singer-songwriters, producers,classical musicians, singers and lyricists to name a few. I have also developed contacts that afford me to be able to broker deals giving artists with business sense global distribution on a major platform. The issue that come in with that is it takes money to market and promote projects. Many dont have the finances to take their career t that next level. What i would like to do is have 50/50, 60/40, 70/30, or 80/20 partnerships with them and the percentage will depend on how much they bring to the table, so to do this i need funding to make that happen. There are promotion and public relations company's that i network with who are from the U.S. and the UK. These company's will with no doubt take the music of these artists to the next level. All songs and projects will be sold digitally in every way along with publishing and sync licensing that will get the music on tv shows, commercials, and movies, etc...
As for the sports side of the company i plan to become an agent for athletes, coaches, broadcasters and this will lead to developing an agency. The agency will consist of other agents working under me which i will also receive a percentage of their commissions. I will represent U.S. sports leagues such as the NFL, NBA, MLB,and MMA along with the international organizations of the same sports. To make this happen all that is needed is for me to attend an eight week class to learn all the rules and states of an agent. This class will also give me the tools and the inside scoop on obtaining the certifications for each ball club efficiently. To let you know of what type of income an agent receives, but know the commission depends on the athlete i sign. For example if i sign a player in the NFL they could make anywhere from $375,000 $20,000,000 and my commission would be from $11,250 - $600,000. I plan to sign many so this will add up and realistically an agent can make over a million dollars per year. So between the music industry and the sports world millions of dollars will be made each year.
